President Jay Einstein opened the meeting by welcoming all guests.
Gail Marino reminded everyone about the Special Needs Holiday Party taking place on 12/4. We still need additional volunteers. Gail passed around a sign-up sheet.
David Schad reminded everyone of the Vineland Rotary Wreaths of Remembrance project:
Saturday, December 14th. Volunteers arrive at 9:30 AM
Ceremony at 10 AM followed by laying of the wreaths on the graves.
We usually conclude by 11 AM, no later than 11:30 AM.
This year, we will be recognizing the 25th anniversary of the cemetery being opened.
Rotary has been doing the Wreath laying project since December 2011.
Gail Marino mentioned that she is looking for volunteers to join the Salad Club for Code Blue which is located on the 700 block of Wood Street in Vineland.
Karen Bauman reminded us of the Holiday Dinner which will take place on December 10th at the Savoy. There will be no lunch meeting this day. Check your emails for official invitation! Don't forget to RSVP!
Joe O'Rourke reminded everyone to save the dates- We have our Rotary Jingle Run which will be December 7th! We do need more runners! Please spread the word! Visit: www.jinglerun.com for more information or to register for the run.
February 1st will be the Century of Service Gala event!
Preston Centuolo reminded everyone about The Olde Fashioned Christmaswhich is taking place Friday & Saturday December 6th & 7th!
Jay Einstein presented Steve Plevins with a check for $411.00 that Rotary collected for the Spirit & Truth Turkey Drive!
Steve Plevins spoke about the Vineland Turkey Drive.
Started at Walmart and brought 1,000 turkeys.
Passed turkeys out at Kingston Apartments and several others.
The overall project will have fed a total of 3,500 people.
They will be cooking for 200 people on Wednesday 11-27-24 at Spirit and Truth and serving those meals at 11 AM.

~ Rebecca (Becky) Lein is being proposed for membership by Denise Jackson. Becky is the Director of Development at Cumberland Christian School here in Vineland. She is a Pittsgrove resident, married to husband Dwight Lein with four children – Victoria, Daniel, Christian, and Alathea.
