Highlights from our July 8th meeting:

President, Josie Spinelli welcomed everyone to the meeting.

We also sang "Happy Birthday" to Nancy Spinelli who celebrated her birthday on 7/2.

Announcements:

Josie Spinelli conducted her first meeting as President of the Vineland Rotary Club! You did a wonderful job, Josie!

Josie congratulated Jay Einstein on a fantastic year as President and thanked him for all of his hard work.

HAPPY DOLLARS COLLECTED: $88

There were a lot of happy Rotarians this week.

Josie Spinelli presented special Rotary pins to the following individuals: Maria LeBlanc, Harry Maloney, Preston Centuolo, Gus Foster, Dave Schad, Cara Stanzione, Alicia Fichera and Ed Morvay. Josie also presented Jay Einstein with last year's Rotary banner.

Dawn Hunter announced that the Chamber Golf Event will take place on Friday, July 18th please consider signing up to play!

Nick Surace announced there will be a membership meeting at the Black Olive on Thursday, July 10th at 7:30AM.

Sherry Soutiere let everyone know that we will be collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to the Strike for Hunger at the Rotary Phillies game on 8/18.

Josie let everyone know there is a dinner in Cherry Hill the night after the Phillies game. More details to follow.

Joe O'Rourke introduced our speaker, Rodrick Zapanta.
