Announcements

President Jay Einstein opened the meeting with a warm welcome to today's guests, Rebecca Lein from Cumberland Christian School and Al Fisher from OceanFirst Bank.

Alicia Fichera gave a report on the Pedals for Progress event this past Saturday. Alicia explained how we originally had 98 bikes and 16 sewing machines as of Saturday. However, they could not fit all the bikes in the truck and will be back this week to pick up the remainder of the bikes and in the meantime, we collected 4 more. This brings our collection total to 102 bikes!

Karen Bauman spoke with Jay Parks recently. Jay asked that we please keep the pictures coming to him as he is trying to get his program together.  Karen also reminded us of the Holiday Dinner which will take place on December 10th at the Savoy. More details to follow.

Sandy Hearing mentioned that The Rotaract Club will be conducting a blood drive on November 7th from 8:15AM to 1:15PM at the RCSJ (Cumberland campus) gymnasium. You may register online at www.RedCrossBlood.org

The Sensational Soul Cruisers will be performing at this event! We also have our Rotary Jingle Run which will be December 7th! If you are not a runner, Joe encourages you to still donate or participate in the fun run and walk which is only 1 mile.
