Thank you to everyone who has contributed or signed up to volunteer. There are a couple sponsorships still available. More runners/walkers are also welcome.

Mike Loyle spoke to the club about “make-ups,” explaining that Rotary members can attend meetings at any Rotary club around the world and be welcomed as one of their own. He recently returned from Ireland, where he took a memorial trip for his late wife, Betsy. During a stop in Cork, he attended a local Rotary meeting, was warmly welcomed, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

He also shared that their major fundraiser is a Remembrance Tree, which has raised $1.5 million over the past ten years. Mike purchased a ribbon to add to the tree during his visit.

Josie thanked Nick, Cara and Alicia for all of their efforts with Pedals for Progress. Thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help. We collected 62 bikes and 45 sewing machines.

Josie thanked Preston Foster and Dave Schad for assisting in setting up the road clean up. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped.
