Josie thanked Harry and Gus for setting up the room. 
 
💵 Happy Dollars were collected. Ed also walked around the room and FINED anyone without a Rotary pin on. 
 
Josie expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Becky Lein for her incredible hard work and dedication in organizing the pickleball fellowship and coordinating the school, making both such wonderful and meaningful experiences for everyone involved. 
 
Suzanne Martinelli reminded everyone to get your Boscov's coupons! We are halfway to our goal! She also has fliers to hang in your business. Coupons can be used at any Boscov's and online. 
 
Sherry Soutiere reminded everyone about Peanut Butter & Jelly on Friday, 10/3. 
 
Sherry also announced a tentative date for the Special Needs Party. It is proposed for Wednesday, December 3rd at Rossi School. More details to follow. 
 
Jim Siwek let everyone know about the next Blood Drive happening at Compass Academy on November 1st. Jim also collected donations from the last blood drive for the Rotary Club. Thanks, Jim for all of your hard work!
 
Ed Morvay distributed nomination forms for this year’s Vocational Service Award. Members are encouraged to nominate a deserving non-Rotarian who has demonstrated outstanding service in their profession or community.
 
Josie invited Cara and Alicia to share with the club about their recent meeting with Ralph Cooper, Rotary District 7505 Public Image Director. During this meeting, they were invited to join the District Public Image Team, where they met with District Governor-Elect Bill Mercantini and committee members to discuss ongoing work on the club’s website, social media, and newsletter. The group also explored ways surrounding clubs could support our efforts by hosting mini collections for the upcoming Pedals for Progress initiative.
 
Josie thanked everyone who attended the fellowship at Serene's. She was sad she could not make it. See photo below.
 
Josie mentioned that World Polio Day is Friday, October 24th. There will also be a Halloween luncheon on October 28th. Please prepare to come in your best mask or scary costume. There may be another fellowship on October 31st, as well. 
 
Dave Schad reminded everyone that Wreaths of Remembrance will take place on December 13th at the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetary. 
 
Josie is requesting everyone donates one bag of candy to send to PAL to give back to the kids in the community.

Here are the step-by-step instructions:

    2    Navigate to the Zelle section: by looking for options like "Send Money with Zelle" or "Pay & Transfer". 

    3    Select a recipient: from your contacts or by entering the recipient's email address. 

    4    Enter the amount: you wish to send and add an optional note if desired. 

    5    Review: the transaction details to ensure they are correct. 

    6    Tap "Send": to complete the payment

 

If your bank isn't a partner, you can still use Zelle by downloading the standalone Zelle app, but you'll need a U.S.-based bank account, a U.S. mobile number, an email address, and a valid U.S.-based debit card.
