Dave Schad announced:

Alex Weingartner, a standout senior and two-way baseball star at St. Augustine Preparatory School, was named the 2025–26 Gatorade New Jersey Baseball Player of the Year—one of the highest individual honors in high school athletics.

As part of this incredible honor, Alex chose to give back by presenting his $1,000 award donation to the Challenger League. His generosity and selection ultimately led to an even greater surprise—Gatorade presented our club with an incredible $10,000 donation to support the Challenger League!

What began as recognition of one outstanding young athlete became something much bigger: an opportunity to make a lasting difference for the children and families of Challenger League. We are incredibly grateful to Alex for choosing to support a program so near and dear to the Rotary Club of Vineland and to Gatorade for this generous gift.
