Highlights from our June 30th meeting:
 
Josie Spinelli, Club President, welcomed everyone and conducted her last meeting as President.

Josie reminded everyone of the coffee with a vet event this Friday (7/3).
 
Josie let everyone know there is no PB&J this week (starting back up next month)
 
Josie thanked everyone for an amazing year as President. 
 
Josie shared "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" by McFadden & Whitehead as the unofficial theme song for Joe's year as President, symbolizing the momentum, optimism, and excitement surrounding the club's future.
 
Dennis Palmer reminded everyone of the Paul Harris Dinner on 7/14. There will be NO weekly meeting this day. (see below graphic for further details)
 
Dave Schad reminded everyone about the Strike Out Hunger game on 8/6. A sign up sheet was passed around. (see below flyer)
 
Pastor Heather reminded everyone of the Redeemer Lutheran Church Summer Concert series. The first concert on July 9th at 7:00PM is Rotary Night- all proceeds raised will go to Hydromissions International. This concert is free. Bring a chair and a friend!
 
Harry thanked Josie and the club for honoring him with the Spirit of Rotary Award. In a touching moment, he held up two pens that had been given to him by the nuns 55 years ago when he graduated grade school in recognition of his "Best Service to the School" award, reflecting a lifelong commitment to service and giving back to others.
 
Rotarians sang "Happy Birthday" to Nancy Spinelli who celebrates her birthday on July 2nd!

Program:
 
Josie Spinelli presented the Community Hero Award to Dr. Luis Amberths, Jr. of the Vineland Public Library in recognition of his outstanding leadership and the exceptional work he and the Library Board have done to create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging space for all members of our community. Their dedication has made the library a place where people of all ages can connect, learn, and thrive.

Today's meeting featured a special musical treat as we were serenaded by Carina Cafiso of the Vineland Voice. Her beautiful performance was a wonderful addition to the meeting, and we sincerely appreciate her sharing her talent with us.

Josie Spinelli concluded her final meeting as President, and while her term may be coming to an end, the impact of her leadership will be felt for years to come.

Throughout her presidency, Josie led with grace, compassion, dedication, and heart. She guided our club through countless service projects, celebrations, and moments of fellowship while always keeping Rotary’s mission and values at the forefront. Her leadership brought people together, inspired others to serve, and strengthened the bonds that make our club feel like family.

Thank you, Josie, for your unwavering commitment to the Rotary Club of Vineland, for the time and energy you so generously gave, and for leaving our club better than you found it. Your imprint on our club, our community, and each of us will not soon be forgotten.

We are grateful for your leadership, proud to call you our friend, and excited to continue building upon the foundation you helped strengthen.

Thank you for an incredible year, Josie. 💙💛
