Announcements:

Josie Spinelli expressed her appreciation to Harry for setting up the room. She also thanked all blood donors who donated at the recent Blood Drive. Josie also gave a special thank you to Denise, Hope and everyone who participates in helping with Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches. She also said thank you to Cara and Alicia for doing such a great job on the newsletter. Especially, Cara, for the emails sent out in short notice.

Josie announced to the group for everyone to please keep Mark and Maureen Simmons in your prayers. Mark is recovering from a triple bypass surgery.

Josie passed around thank you letters from the RYLA students.

Josie reminded everyone of the Gift of Life event on 8/16. (see below flyer)

Sherri Prescott collected $116.00 in $$Happy Dollars$$. Highlight: A very special Happy 36th Wedding Anniversary to Norm and Josie Neill.

Karen Bauman passed around a sign-up sheet for the Pickleball fellowship on 8/13. See below flyer for more information.

Together, Rotarians sang "Happy Birthday" to Sherri Prescott who celebrates her birthday on August 4th.

Bart Feldman from T&F Camera gave a brief presentation introducing a creative initiative for our club: using disposable cameras to help “Tell the Story of Rotary 2025–2026” through each member’s unique perspective.

To support this project, every Rotarian has received a disposable camera. Members are encouraged to capture moments throughout the year that reflect their personal experience of Rotary—events, service, fellowship, and more.

Once you've used your camera, please develop your film and submit your photos by Christmas. When all the photos are collected, they will come together to visually tell the story of our Rotary Club in a meaningful and memorable way.

*Anyone who did not receive their camera yet, there are more coming!*

*Please keep your cameras out of the heat. Do not store your camera in your vehicle.*
