Our annual Hunger Project is Saturday, April 22!
We will assemble 20,000 meals for our community!
 
It's going to be a fun day once again! We will have teams and table captains competing and having fun. There will be music and lots of fellowship while we are giving back to our community. Make sure you sign up as a volunteer.
We need 125 volunteers. 
 
The Hunger Project will be held at the Salvation Army building @ 733 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

$500 = 2,000 meal packets which feeds up to 12,000 people
$250 = 1,000 meal packets which feeds up to 6,000 people
$125 = 500 meal packets which feeds up to 3,000 people
$100 = 400 meal packets which feeds up to 2,400

Challenger League Season is Near!
Rotary Members -- plan on volunteering Saturday, June 10!
June 10 is the last day of the Challenger League season - and that's traditionally Rotary "Buddy" Volunteer Day.
 
Mark your calendars now and plan to participate in a fun-filled and very fulfilling day of service in our community.

2022 Charles A. Loyle Vocational Service Award

Presented to Richard G. Franchetta, EJD, RMC

Richard Franchetta is a lifelong resident of Vineland, NJ who has a strong commitment to the community, in leading through service as a student, performer educator and administrator. Currently, he has served as Director of the Vineland Fire Department for the past 6 years and as Vineland’s Deputy City Clerk for 4 years.
He has a very interesting life story – including becoming a volunteer firefighter in high school, a dealer of craps, blackjack and roulette, a musician and co-founder of the musical group “Eleven-Eleven”. He toured with the band in London, England and throughout the eastern half of the United States. The group released 7 albums. He obtained his NJ Real Estate license in 2000. He graduated from Cumberland County College, Rutgers University and obtained a Master’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from George Washington University. He then obtained an Executive Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School, Los Angeles, CA (now part of Purdue University). He rejoined the Vineland Fire Department in 2013 and was elected President of the Volunteer Fire Association of Vineland. In 2015, he was hired as a Fire Inspector within the Vineland Fire Department. He went on to obtain a NJ Fire Official licensure and was elected Deputy Chief of VFD Station #4. He received certification as a Level 2 Fire Instructor working part-time at the Cumberland County Fire Academy and is currently the coordinator for the Firefighter 1 program.
